¿Cómo es posible que canciones tristes, se escuchen más tristes con ciertas voces?

Bueno, pues esto me pasa con The Love We Have, del disco The Soul Season Vol 2 de Joss Stone.

La versión más antigua de esta canción corresponde a un grupo de R&B llamado The Dells, que lanzó esta canción en 1972. Luego, en la década de 1990, otro grupo (también de R&B) llamado Dru Hill hizo un cover de esta canción.

Y seguramente se debe a que la letra (escrita por el jazzista Terrence Orlando Callier y Larry Wade) está llena de amor, de nostalgia, de soledad y de esperanza, y supera a todas las versiones que hagan de ella.
